European Xbox launch next March?
Microsoft plans to launch the Xbox in Europe in March 2002.
GameSpot has learned that Microsoft plans to launch the Xbox in Europe sometime in March 2002. Officially, the company has only confirmed a tentative spring 2002 release date. As reported previously, Microsoft and Flextronics have established manufacturing Xbox facilities in Mexico and Hungary in order to ensure a healthy supply of consoles for both the European and North American launch. GameSpot will have further details as they become available.
