4 million plus Xbox Live downloads since launch
Microsoft corporate Vice President Scott Di Valerio gave a bit more data about the Xbox 360's performance with regards to Xbox Live. He said, "Since the launch of Xbox 360, Xbox Live members have downloaded over 4 million pieces of high-definition games, music and movie content from the Xbox Live Marketplace." Let's break that down a little bit. Because this was a conference call to announce quarterly performance, we're assuming that these downloads were performed by the 1.5 million people who managed to score an Xbox 360 during the period. More accurately, the content was downloaded by the 50% of Xbox 360 owners who have connected to Xbox Live. This means that 750,000 people downloaded 4 million items, or a download rate of 5.33 Xbox Live Marketplace items per connected gamer. How many items have you downloaded? Are you above or below the average?Source: http://www.microsoft.com
