Burger King Games Go Double Platinum
Microsoft and fast food giant Burger King announced today that the Burger King line of promotional Xbox and Xbox 360 games have sold a Whopp(er)ing 2 million copies combined. The games launched a month ago on November 19. The Blitz Games-developed Pocketbike Racer, Big Bumpin’ and Sneak King feature hilariously disturbing Burger King icons such as the Subservient Chicken and the King himself. The titles, compatible with both Xbox and Xbox 360, sell for $3.99 each with the purchase of a BK Value Meal. Russ Klein, president of global marketing at Burger King, said in a statement, "Most video games are considered a blockbuster when they reach the 1 million mark in sales, and this collection has achieved twice that, thanks in part to the great value for the money and convenient holiday stocking stuffer appeal."Source: http://www.next-gen.biz/
