Microsoft to Offer Free Music Videos Over XBL
Music videos will be made available for free over the Xbox 360 online service, as Microsoft begins to offer promotional packages across the company’s multiple media offerings. "The Ignition program is designed to connect with a substantial consumer audience," commented Christina Calio, director of music marketing for Zune. "Consumers are looking for ways to find new music, and Ignition helps connect artists with potential new fans by giving them multiple opportunities to listen to, watch or read about artists across Microsoft’s online platforms."
