“We regularly test all kinds of concepts in market research with our Xbox community. These may or may not be real products in development or ever be released to consumers," a Microsoft rep told Next-Gen Monday.

Microsoft’s response comes after an alleged info leak over the weekend, originating from market research firm Intellisponse’s website.

Forum-goers were able to mine loads of information from the website, including a purported SingStar-like karaoke game called Lips for Xbox 360, a new game show channel on Xbox Live, an unannounced game dubbed "The Crucible" from Silicon Knights and a new avatar creation feature.

A slew of alleged Activision products also surfaced, including several Spider-Man and Tony Hawk titles. One Spider-Man title is rumored to use the Wii balance board, and a Tony Hawk title may use an unannounced balance board for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Press conferences during the week of the E3 Media and Business Summit in July seem likely times the companies would make official announcements on the rumored products.

Activision has not returned request for comment regarding the leak. Neither Microsoft nor Activision have confirmed any of the rumored products.
