I just rented THPS3 and on the first level you have to grind on the lava bucket or something like that. I know you have to ge t on the green thing and it will lift you up but i cant get it to lift up. How can i get it to lift up?

Nope... no green thing.

See the tub that the lava is being poured into? Stand in front of the control room with the bucket controller and face the tub. You'll notice that the base of the tub forms a kicker that will get you up to a grind on one of the rails that's on either side of the bucket. Hope this helps!

Man, I remember hating that objective. I ALWAYS experienced a massive slow down when i got anywhere near the pool of molten

that way works, but u can also go up the quater pipe on beside the lava pit at an angle and quickly grind the rail, i find this way easier than the other way listed

I got on to the platforms above the bucket smashed through the window where you get the tape jumped off the edge hold the grind button down and landed on the rail beside the bucket

Fluke I guess you could say.

This was on PS2 though
