This is really funny stuff, but I don't think that Universal Interactive has given The Thing (that new game!), the "Xbox treatment." Bummer, but it still looks like a great game.Originally posted by GK2

P.S. No matter what, due to the fact that it's not published by EA, it will actually look better on Xbox, along with the other 99.9% of multi-platform titles on Xbox.

This is what Boredom causes , I haven't seen or heard anyhting about Xtra's on The Thing, even though it would be rad if they did,

Why make a game out of it now anyway? The movie was back in 1982 . Is there another movie in the works or something?

i watched the movie the thing the other night and it had commercials for the thing the game all through the show. IT LOOKS KILLER! i saw it a pc store the other day and it looks pretty cool from the box art, but i don't think it has many extras at all even on the pc version. i think i'll buy it used for 19.99 when i can get one for that price.

As far as extras go, nothing has been said about it. I have been following this game since it was announced and look forward to playing it. I preordered it from EBgames.com about 2 weeks ago when they had a special preorder bundle. For $50 you got The Thing Xbox game, The Thing DVD and a Thing McFarlene firgure. A nice deal since the DVD alone goes for $15 - $25.
