This isn't really big! but a friend of mine told me he read in a magazine he has that nintendo is going to re-make the gc and allow it to play dvd's, cd's etc. but it could be something else...

Perhaps it will be big. but can it be bigger than GTA III and IV in North America? Highly doubtful.

Even the squaresoft/zelda thing (if it were to happen for some unkown reaon) were to happen... I don't think it can beat GTA IV (with 450 000 reserved copies already with more then a month to go - and already beating Mario sunshine's sales after 10 days)

I am assuming its gonna be nothing major , they pulled the same crap with that stupid Glove for SNES and Mario Paint, they got all excited about the Wave bird also, so I bet it's nothing

It's like Sony Saying PS2 is going to have "toy story" grahpics and PS3 is going to be as powerfull as Deep blue super Computer or whatever its called, its just hype, because Gamcube is slipping

PS3 doesnt even make sense because you would have to keep your system running 24/7 and the life of the system would fall drasticly its just really messed up and i think the GC announcement will be bigger in japan than here but we'll see

Hopefully they'll make some nice, grown-up size controllers for it. And let it play DVD's. Though more than anything, I bet they are going to put out an online pack. They've stayed totally quiet about online options so far, but now that their competition is going online, they are screwed if they don't hurry up.
