Skins for Xbox

I was just wondering if anybody out there had bought one of those Xbox skins that are on ebay. If so which ones are worth the money and which ones blow. Let me know somethin.

There is a member ont his website who makes great skins. It is just a side thing either, its a real business. I am sure someone here will give you a link to his website. They are 3$ and work great, I have one.

actually it is now http://www.skinefx.com I have one and some controller skins, my friend got one two. They are really slick and give you a chance to personalize your xbox a bit which is cool.

I picked up $5 skins from CompUsa. They look nice. Not that many to choose from though.

This website actually has replacement jewels for controllers and the top of your xbox. I have a skin from skinefx and I love it. Also, I took off the jewel from the top of my console and sanded the green paint off, then I painted it silver. Looks pretty hot. Good luck with the mods and keep us posted on any cool mods you find. 1. they protect your xbox
2. they look cooler than with out it on
3. they are cheaper and easier then modding it yourself

Atleast imo, an xbox isn't a toy.

Do you decorate your vcr or dvd player? If not, then why would you decorate your xbox....?

For that reason, I think it's stupid........

Personally, I think the skins are great. I have a Chrome one because all of my other electronic devices are silver...so, it was one way of converting all of my appliances, including my XBox, into a silver look...but, my XBox stands out a little more, and rightly so, because it looks like a mirror threw up on it

I wouldn't put it those terms, but I have no interest in decorating my XBOX either. Now if it wasn't already black I might change my tune.
