Killer Instinct

Hey I remember a video game a while back, named killer instinct. To me this was one of the best Fighting games I ever played. It changed the way fighting games were played with the unique combo system it incorporated.....does anyone know or has heard about it ever coming to the BOX?

I wouldn't say it changed the way fighting games were played, since I can't think of any fighter that adopted the ****ty combo system, but it was fun. Jago kicked ass.

There wasn't any talk about a new one at e3, but I wouldn't mind seeing a Killer Instinct III

No direct adaptation was made......but the idea of extended combos and combo breaks was initiated with that game.....KI 3!!!!!!!!!! Somebody tell the Headhonchos at MS to look into this for XBOX2!!!!!!!!!!!

I wasn't a big fan of that game series at all. But anyway, there is a good chance it'll come to the XBox since XBox did buy the Rare company.

It was Rare, and they were bought out by Microsoft. I absolutely loved this game, second to Soul Calibur 2 though, but really would love if this game came out, and was XBL, which doesn't sound like that far off, but I'm still waiting for Rare to even talk about this game.

im a fan of KI though i only bought the gold version for N64.
I would still by though if it did come out on the xbox. Sabrewolf kicked ass.

Good Game, great for SNES! Combos were good at the time. Way to easy, 1 button combo deal there. Game was to easy.

Yup, i remember that i have borrowed from a friend then playing it no stop like 2 weeks. I try to win every characters but this one is so hard when you get to the final boss.

The best aspect of the game was that you jack the speed up. Then it became who had a better attack plan. At the top speed you couldnt get out of combos because you couldnt keep up.

KI was one of the best fighters ever.


It was all about Fulgor and Glacier (and cinder if were talking about the first one)


rare does have some unannounced games for xbox. an onli e killer instinct would be bliss

Man, I used to love that game. Fulgore was the man.. er.. machine.

That game was magnificent, and hopefully with MS's aquirement of Rare, could one day lead to KI being in the Xbox line up. That would make me ecstatic.

I did have it on the SNES. It was a pretty good port job. Never played KI2 though.
