Persuade and Jedi Persuade

I pumped a lot of points into persuasion... and then I got jedi persuade too. Lots of times I get both choices, jedi and normal persuade choices. Do these aide each other? Which should I choose? Ahhh!! Anyone know? Or does this just mean that times where force persuasion isn't available I get to use regular and vice versa. Oh yeah being dark side rocks :P

I look at it as having more options. I don't think the skills compliment each other. The Jedi skills are more likely to encourage creatures to act against their nature. Normal persuasion is just a nudge for the undecided. If one fails, use the other.
