Just brought it home and i gotta tell ya, its fast beautiful and FUN FUN FUN! you can just jump right in, and start whizzing thru beautiful canyons and dazzling starscapes, blasting enemy fighters with wonderfully designed weapons!!! if you like space combat games or starwars, then this is for YOU! any questions?

Is SWSF an arcade game or a sim?

sorta in between...it has definite action elements, but requires some practice to get the hang of different crafts and weapons. mostly action i think.

I had a f***ed up xperience with the Episode One game for PS1, that game really sucked!!

Is this one really as good as you say it is?

don't worry about any of that ps crap, this is different and BETTER. rent if you must, but i strongly encourage you to buy outright. ITS THAT GOOD

oh, and hugh: not that i have encountered. the areas are HUGE, especially the space places.
