That would be ripping the person off and yes it does happen but manily try and trade with somone on the GTL the more the better, someone who is on the site everyday and if your new you have to take the chance and send first but if theve traded before shouldn't be to much of a worry, you always take a risk but most likey if they traded succefully before they won't rip you off.

Always try and trade with someone who is a respected member/trader on this site. I am a new trader at TGN and in my first trade the person I traded with is insisting that he hasn't gotten the game yet. I sent it last friday and here it is over a week later and he hasn't gotten it. I'm a little worried, because I stupidly didn't get the tracking number for it. I will deffinately remember next time. Luckily it was only Counterstrike, which I won here

Yep...you sure could, thats how people get ripped off... Which is why people just try to be trusting, and if something goes wrong, you can always file for mail fraud, so I would not reccomend trying it...

How it works around here, whoever has the better reputation/more feedback, deciders who shippes 1st (or same time), and I you don't trust them, don't trade with them, that simple

celtics3477 is an extremely bad trader, he told me he sent, he never sent and my trade was accepted January 25 th of 2004 and he still never sent, DONT TRADE WITH HIM

add young fledgling to this list..we had a deal to swap controllers, i sent him a s-controller and he was to send me a duke controller, he recieved his 2 months ago and i still havent recieved mine and when i send him pm's, he says hes too busy to send it out, what shall i do? go to canada and kick his ass or just let him get away with it?

He wanted me to send first, but I had more feedback so he agreed to send first. Glad I didn't. He's probably just being 'slack', but I've passed on other offers since we agreed to trade. It's a bit annoying. Especially since these are newer games and you know how the demand for a game decreases as time passes.
