I don't know about you guys, but where I live the movie rentals have about 20 ps2 games to 1 xbox game!! And there entire collection of xbox games is only about 7 or 8

Why is everyone so biased and love ps2 so much, i hate the thing

Dude, the PoS2 has been out for over a year now....that's why there are so many more games. Just give it a little time...a few more months or so...and there will be many more XBox games.

theres barely any xbox ghames at the video stores but like max said give it sum time and there will be lots of games!

everyone isn't biased. You're the biased one. You called everyone biased and in the mean time say that you hate the thing. How hypocritical can one person get?

Face it, right now PS2 has more games, and better games than either Gamecube or Xbox, therefore more people own it. Because of this, the rental companies have more PS2 games than Xbox or Gamecube games, since it's a more profittable business.

I do, however, believe thqat both Gamecube and Xbox will surpass the PS2 in terms of good games, and by then, the user-base will have expanded, causing rental companies to supply more games.

I don't know if Xbox and/or Gamecube will ever surpass the PS2 in sales because it's has the 14 month lead on the other two, not to mention the gigantic user-base from the PSX/PSOne.

Last time I was forced to go into a Blockbuster I noticed that they had about 25 xbox games (back in mid Dec) and all were rented out. They had a crapload of PS2 games as well.

Still waiting for some mom and pop stores to start carrying them. I don't want to give Blockbuster my business.

i'm sorry i was trying to say how can everyone be so biased against the xbox, because i know all my friends are. And yes I am biased against the PS2 because i have never liked the system, or anything about it. I also disagree with you about PS2 having better games.... I know you will think I'm crazy but I think N64 has better games than the PS2. Anyhow, there is no PS2 game that can even begin to compare with a game like Halo. So better games on the ps2? i guess if you're not a real big halo fan but Halo is the greatest thing I've ever seen and I've had almost every system available in the past 10 years..........

Thats just my two cents

I agree that N64 is much better than PS2, but that's my opinion. BTW, in case you were wondering, I don't have a PS2.


Anyways, you can't deny that PS2 has better games than Xbox.
Sure, Halo is an incredible game, but no other game on Xbox compares with it. There are other good games, like Max payne and PGR, but Halo is really the only true must-have title so far.

PS2, on the other hand has MGS 2, FFX, GTA3, GT3, Jak and Daxter, Tony Hawk 3 etc...

I think everyone can agree on the fact that at this very moment, if you were to own PS2, Xbos, or GCN with their 6 best games, PS2 kills Xbox and Gamecube. I'm fairly confident that GCN and XB will be better than PS2 in the future, but at this very moment, PS2 is the best.

Renting games? Wow, now that brings back memories! I have not rented a videogame nor a movie since the Sega Genesis days.
ever since i have just took my chances on purchasing games. If I dont like them I can just take them back to my local EB or Software ect. within a week.
but as far as the topic here goes-I agree with my litte side kick, waximus jr. just give it time. The system is still fairly new.
As far as the Blockbuster store the one guy was talking about with all the stuff crowding the store. Well dude, all they do is sell all those pre-viewed, pre-played gams & movies to make more room for da new joints to come it.
So Xbox will get it's fair share of space like da next jabroni! Ya feel me kid!

Im awaiting my video store to get Xbox games in it. The manager said they want to get at least 20 different games to start with due to how many people asking about xbox rentals. Which is a good and bad thing for me. more games but maybe not availible when i want a particular one. So i cant wait, im getting interested in Mad Dash now cause i just got back from walmart and i played the demo, pretty fun i thought, well later

about blockbuster - i think they only have one copy of a lot of games (the one near me, i heard the only one they have two of is like oddworld)... plus, a lot of times people working there will take 'em for themselves

I think Blockbuster employees have to wait like 2 weeks after it's been on the shelves before they can take out a game. Er, for free, that is.

That's true, and when I say "You can't deny", it's just a figure of speach.


However, I think it's pretty reasonable to say that PS2 is better since it's been out longer therefore it has more games.

You have every right to disagree with that, but you can't just brush PS2 off and say that it sucks (many people have done that on this BBS)
