Who skipped work b/c of Halo?

Am I the only person that took a little extra lunch time (and maybe breakfast and dinner time) away from work to play Halo2? I figured I might as well, I waited this long to get it, I might as well enjoy it.

I skipped school for it. Waited from 3:30 to midnight to get it. Played it till 2:00 AM. No way I would be able to concentrate in school anyway.

Took the entire day off Tuesday as a personal floating holiday. I have also been losing a lot of sleep because of it....up til 4:00 AM Friday and 1:30 AM Saturday!

i took tuesday off and played a 16 player lan from 1:15 am until 11 pm. then, like stormin, got no sleep the rest of the week. no wonder my cold wouldn't go away.

Since im homeschooled, my mom has a close eye on what im doing, so I couldn't picked it up midnight or take the day off. And she doesn't let me play games on school days, sux...

I didn't take the day off because I had a big exam that day but the rest of the week I stayed up way too late to play it and was like a zombie in my classes. I think my prof's had a suspision (sp) about why but I don't think they would guess it was because of a video game. lol.

This last weekend I didn't get any sleep either. My boyfriend and I stayed up until 4am playing it and then I tried to go to sleep but couldn't.

I think it is awesome that you like Halo! Your boyfriend is a lucky guy! Isn't it funny how when you have had a long night playing Halo or Halo 2 how you lay down and try to go to sleep but you keep replaying scenarios of what happened in your head? It is very hard to go to sleep sometime. It happened to me last night and I was up until about 1:30 AM. I am running on empty!...

Haha yea I kept wanting to play it more. But my boyfriend was snoring beside me and I like playing with some one else so I just laid down.

The new guy at EB didn't believe that it was my copy of Halo 2 when we went in. I had my boyfriend with me but o well I must not look like the typical female gamer. lol. If there is a typical female gamer. haha.

Played from 12:30am till about 4am...Slept for 2 1/2 hours... Took my Xbox to work with me and played all day while getting paid . Nice

I called in sick, phoned up my assistant and told them i was feeling strange......lol so surprised they didn't see me drive by in the afternoon as i went to pick up lunch.
