I think its amazing how you guys are willing to pay so much for a piece of plastic! I would buy that for 20 tops. This is coming from a kid who makes $8.50 an hour though....

I will because these are very limited and rare, just think you pay 60 bucks for a game which are mass produced when this one for example is out of 200! and yes some are really expencive but they are worth it in our eyes. i would pay more than that ( i think....) for this plate. haha

Ill pay more than 20 for that but i agree... I make 8.50 a hour too, so the really expensive plates make huge dents in my income.

Like I said before, they're not $200 pieces of plastic. They're $200 pieces of pop art. There are limited numbers, and many people collect for the enjoyment of it, not the speculation of their future value. The day of $1.99 Star Wars figures being found in a box in an attic and worth $6,000 are over. Everybody collects everything now, so no matter what it is, someone has one mint, in a box, and for sale.

Just think if something like this had been done with the NES, what would people be paying for them? If there were only 200 or 500 of them made? One guy (yeah, yeah... tolietbowl) just paid $2,000 for a Genesis cartridge.

So not everyone can understand why someone else would do it, but then sometimes, we wonder why people don't.

Its just a lot of money though. Sure you have a nice collection, but all you can do is look at it. Ok ok, and clip it onto your xbox.
