I talked to Epic. Mad Catz renewed their non-exclusive faceplate agreement for Gears of War 2 plates. That pic is the first plate I've seen. There were no plates available in stores for launch that I am aware of.

I have more news about the launch event in Los Angeles that I will post later in a separate thread.

Anyone have the story on this one? This seller is the only one that has this plate so far and doesn't really offer an explanation of where it came from.

I sent an email to Epic with a picture of my two signed plates, asking permission according to our earlier discussions, to sell them on eBay. I was told that any agreement we did would have to be drafted up by lawyers, and it wouldn't be worth it for two plates. So I'm back to NOT being an Epic licensee, and I have these two awesome plates...

Hey, Game Crazy has dropped some prices on their consoles:

Xbox 360 Elite w/ 120 GB HDD used, $259. (That's a ridiculous price.)
Xbox 360 Pro w/ 20 GB HDD, used, $219.
Xbox 360 Core, used, $159.

Wii's are $199 used. PS2's dropped too but I don't remember their prices. I think it's $69 for a used PS2 Slim. The Elite is the stupid deal though. $140 less than new?

As for the E3 faceplates, the real official ones usually come with some kind of plastic tube around them.

I sent him/her a message asking for that to be included. I hope that they have it. I have been looking at some real e3 plates and it seems legit.

In reality I sent the seller a message yesterday asking if they had it and that I would be interested in purchase if they did. I thought about when I woke up and figured that one of you would just jump on it anyway at that price so I just acted. I will look for a case for it if they do not have it.

it could be either though the zero hour is 100% real i have never seen fakes, to tell if the E3 is fake check to see the back of the power button when it arrives if its black then its real otherwise sorry its fake

Somewhere in here we had a post that showed the real vs fake plates side by side. Do a search. You can tell the difference in the way the circles overlap the memory card slot also.
