Very nice. Is this a custom faceplate.

Also if you have any information about this if it's not custom please tell.

Nato, these plates were painted by the people who do all the graffiti art for the Gorillaz music group. At a UK event, they attached 600 blank, white faceplates to the wall in a brick-like pattern, and then sprayed the whole wall. That's what's in the picture above the plate. That plate is #200, which means if you start in the lower right of the picture and start counting plates, your plate will be the 200th one.

Yes, they're all painted with spray paint. This is a nice one because it has multiple colors, sharp lines, and still has the sticker over the i/r window.

    Sold.
I've sent the same offer to everybody inquiring about the faceplate.
But I still would like to keep the buyer and the price private.
    Thanks in advance
    .

Most likely I will be able to secure another Gorillaz faceplate in the next 7-10 days. Hang around the forum for update with pictures.

Nice, I like the pictures idea, did they paint it on a wall, then made faceplates? IM CONFUZZLED.

they put 600 blank white faceplates on a wall and spray painted the graffiti on the faceplates like it was just a regular wall, hope that makes sense.

Oh I understand now. Do they have a website so we can look at stuff they have already done. and also the smaller the number of plates the more rare and expensive they plate is. Like if they don't 600 I would sell them $40 each but if they have done 10 I would sell them 250 each.

No, no, no. You misunderstand. The artists who did this project also do the cover art for the Gorillaz recording group plus other projects. They were hired to paint this wall for a European launch - UK, I think. They don't just make faceplates, and decide how many and what image. They did this once, and that's it. There are 600 plates, and that's it. There won't be any future projects of "1 of 200" or "1 of 50."

There are 600 of these and they routinely go for $60-$100. If they'd have done ten, they'd be thousand dollar plates. Or more.
