i dont know if you already tried this, but you could ask people you have made connections with through your faceplate work like the dead space team. maybe one of those people could help you get started. the poeple at valve are also extremely nice! the person i talked to used to be in real estate then just somehow moved into the gaming industry. or a school that teaches classes on game related things wold give you the experience.
