I was supposed to buy it from WSU months ago and didn't have the money. I contacted him about buying it and he said we'd talk about it and I saw just now that it's up on eBay. I've had this plate on my wishlist since the day I saw this plate.

This is my one major faceplate purchase for the whole year. It's taken until four days before Christmas to have a paycheck where I could do it.

I'm not above begging.

Indeed i thought it'd go much higher than that.
The faceplate is not only ultra limited (one of a kind ?) but is also the work of an artist.
I'm more surprised about the price of the adidas faceplate which has been issued to bigger numbers.

Well whoever muffin_monster is it looks like they just now started collecting - 15 positive feedback - 14 viewable and all from the same seller - ALL faceplates (fairly common ones too).

I mean maybe I'm wrong about the person just starting a collection now but it still seems weird that they would buy a sh*tload of common plates and then drop a ton of money on some really rare ones... especially while other really rare ones remain unnoticed.
