Overall: Terrible game. I just can't stand it. From the terrible gameplay to the lousy sound effect. I'll never buy another Ubisoft game. I've played flight sims since I bought my first Commodore Colt (IBM XT Clone). None of them was nearly as bad as this piece of @$%$. Gameplay: Just terrible. HUD says shoot you shoot. You don't even see the other plane. Not once have I been in a dog fight. Extremely boring. Even my 2 kids hate it. Graphics: These aren't actually too bad. Except there is no imagination. Every airport looks exactly the same. They sure didn't spend much time making any kind of realistic world to fly around in. Sound: Uhhg, from the menu sounds to the flying sounds to the music. It's all terrible. This is the year 2006 isn't it? Suggestions: Give up and go back to whatever you did before you thought you develop a flight sim. My copy is for sale, want it back?
Overall: Jet sim, plain and simple Gameplay: very realistic, not an arcade style like Ace Combat, it was new for me and I somewhat enjoyed it. Graphics: some of the worst on the 360 if not the worst, PS2 graphics such as Ace Combat make this game look like a disgrace, and its a freakin ps2 game that was made nearly two years ago!!? Sound: not bad, but nothing extraordinary either, however the music has to be some of the worst ever. Suggestions: why put the the F-14a and b but not the d, decisions like this just ruin the game. really just a bunch of isanity on the developers part. If you put a jet in at least put its best variant in too especially when you have other variants.
Overall: Hey gal444 shut up and go play Halo! This game is more of a sim and it sounds like you played the game for about 10 minutes, so your opinion is irrelevant to me. Did you ever think that REAL fighter PILOTS don't experience a great sense of speed most of the time? Maybe it was your comment about how ubisoft should fold that proved your an IDIOT! Now, back to the game. Landing on a moving aircraft carrier is suhweet! Dropping chaffes and flares to avoid missiles is a nice touch and Multiplayer dogfights Online are always fun. Can Any one say Stealth Bomber! Gameplay: Nothing too new in gameplay if you've ever played a fighter game before. The game has a Sim type feel to it with just incredible graphics and a great replay feature. As I mentioned above, landing and taking off are an adventure but might get old after a while. Controls are simple, I imagine most modern fighter planes ARE pilot friendly so I don"t have a problem with that. Four different camera angles keep the view refreshing but admitedly I'm not very far into the game, but if I was not impressed I would not be writing a review, unless the game totally sucked! Graphics: I give it a 5 because it is amazing to look at. Aircraft enthusiasts will just love watching! The planes are crisp and super detailed. Con trails and heat mirages from the engines add to the immersion factor. Sound: Blah, I was hoping for that feeling of standing to close to a runway. I meant a real runway, not one for RC planes. Suggestions: We need a Chess game for 360. Maybe make it a variety type game with many other games. Some obvious like checkers and Card games but what about games like risk, monopoly, wheel of fortune. There is nothing really like that on a console.
Overall: very boring too easy. its says shoot you hit athe A button and the guy dies. its also very slow, if you have played blazing aces or whatever the other plane game is for 360 this one is 10 times slower in feel and speed Gameplay: very slow for jets, i don't feel like i'm in a jet. gameplay is for 6 year olds. there are no dog fights, you see a plane coming, its says shoot and thats it.. Graphics: graphics are just slightly better than xbox quality. there is not much for detail on the planes or the backgrounds. Sound: there is crappy music! this game should be played on mute and with the tv turned off it sucks soo bad. Suggestions: give up and fold your company ubi soft.
