Dragon's Lair HD-DVD

To be honest, back then home gaming consoles weren't all that great.
The real treat was leaving the house and heading out to the arcade. The stench of cigarette smoke, sticky floors and the loud music of The Scorpions gave these environments their character. But when Dragon's Lair showed up, all of that seemed forgotten. But just why was this title so important? Firstly, it was one of the first games to tie together cutting edge technology with a great story. Up to that point, the two had never been so carefully meshed together. Looking at how today's gaming industry has become crazy fierce, we might take what Dragon's Lair accomplished for granted.
