The last charity auction for the Halo 3 signed console closed at over $10k but the winner backed out. It took 3 auctions to get a serious bidder to commit to buying what they won. It finally sold for $3550.00
They're apparently giving one away to someone who buys the XBox Exclusive song "All you Need is Love"... so we have a small bit of a small percentage of a miracle of owning this XBox :P

No, I don't know. I wouldn't be surprised if EA, MTV, Harmonix or Microsoft didn't "win" the auction. I mean, it's a write-off for them, and cheap publicity.
I think last time, the Halo signed one went to a similar price but turns out the buyer was a fraud and didn't go through with it so it was auctioned off again. Either that or the second one that was auctioned was indeed a second one instead of a relisted auction of the first one.

1) Companies giving away consoles usually have them professionally printed, not airbrushed.
2) The "Halo" text is upside down on the faceplate. I can't see Microsoft or Bungie signing off on that.

Answer: Hi! i got the xbox360 directly from Microsoft Germany, so i had no influence of printing etc. The Grand-Prize was an Airbrushed Xbox360, and so i got that :D

Answer: Yes, iam already know, but again, i had no influence during the creating process.
