I hope it is a hoax, but why are you so sure? I read the article and it seems reasonabe, like responsible reporting...

Umm, I hate to repeat myself, but WHY do you believe it to be a hoax. I don't care either way, but back up the statement, "It's a hoax" with some facts, please.

Here is the WHOIS information to the domain Homestation.net

    NS1.ECLIPSE-COMM.COM 209.75.67.159
    NS2.ECLIPSE-COMM.COM 209.75.67.160

Now, I dont think Microsoft would register a domain using an Earthlink e-mail address (scalmand@EARTHLINK.NET)

OR MAYBE IT'S ALL A BIG CONSPIRACY BY MICROSOFT TO SUCK OUR FREE WILL AND CREATIVENESS FROM OUR VERY BODIES!!!!!

    Oh wait...... that's cable TV

Thank you, maneating cow! Nice research. You have answered my question.

Severe Tire Damage: I didn't DOUBT it was a hoax, I just wanted to have more facts that it was a hoax than a dozen posts that said, "It's a hoax." By the way, did you know that the initials of your handle are STD? Do you know what that is?

No problem at all. I was personally wondering if the site was just a fluke. Homestation.org takes you to a Japanese webpage...

it is probably a psx or gc fan that made the site to scare us away from x-box since there is a new system coming out right after x-box
