Can u hook up ur xbox to a router?

I have my two computers hooked up to a router to share the dsl and i was wondering if i will be able to just plug my xbox into the router for internet connection?

I think you can. I Myslef am gonna buy a router so that i can play on the net and some else can use it at the same time.

I talked to my cable guy and he said you can use a hub for cable modem I would think its the same for DSL

im really dumb at this kind of stuff, so can u explain how routers and hubs work and how u can use dsl at ur comp and still play xbox without an extension cord
