Improving players in Madden???

In Franchise mode, do players improve more if they get more playing time? Will padding their stats by increasing the quarter lengths also help? (This worked in Create a player in Tecmo Bowl III for the SNES)

Does IMP in the ratings mean how well a player will improve? Thanks!

They will improve naturally. Of course a person who gets more PT is likely to get better faster, but that doesn't mean PT is thw way to go.

In Madden the players stats get better and better until they turn about 30, then it slowly falls.
