Question About Xbox Dvd Player

does anyone know if the xbox dvd player will support dts as well as dolby digital?

dts is another 5.1 format. some people will say there is a big difference between the two while others will say there isn't. dts will tell you that their sound is more full and deep. they are more or less the same, but i was just wondering because my reciever has a dts decoder and there are plenty of dvds out there that offer both formats

It has Dolby Digital 5.1 IN-GAME, but I can't tell if it works while watching a DVD

I have heard nothing about the xbox having DTS, but it has Dolby 5.1, as our bold leader FuNiOnZ stated, whether you are playing a game or watching a movie. It also has Progressive Scan. I'm not real sure what that is, but it is a **** good thing to have, especially if you have and HDTV.

Are you serious? I never thought it would have it anyways, but when I read that preview guide it said that it DID have it. If you are certain of this, please let me know caude it will totally influence my decision to by a DVD player or a CD player. If xbox has progressive scan I won't need the DVD player and will just get the CD player, but if it doesn't have it I'll need to get the DVD player and just use xbox for movies.
