System Link Play Question (?)

Do you need to have the game in both systems to play on system link or can you only have one copy of the game? My question is because I own Halo and a buddy does not and we need to know if he needs to buy it as well so we can play system link. HAs anybody played Halo on System link? Is it bada$$?

I suggest that if your gonna have a party your buddy rents halo...not buy it!!!

Have you buddy buy Halo cuz after you do system link once you're going to want to keep doing it. And you don't want to have to rent each and every time you want to have a LAN party. I have done system link a couple of times mostly w/ 2 boxes but we did have a real party on the 20th of April and were going to hook 4 boxes together but only ended up needing 3 boxes some guys didn't show up...WHAT WHERE THEY THINKING So go ahead and talk your buddy into buying it he will love it once he gets it anyway.
