Japenese Xbox controller...does it work with US?

So far I have read 2 totally different reviews. One that says they will not be compatable. And another that says it worked with Halo, Mad dash, DOA3, and another game. Anyone know anything?

Yes, the Jap controller will work with any Xbox, anywhere! The US version will also work with any Xbox, anywhere...controllers are region free.

its pretty much the same as the s-type except for the jewel. Thats what oxm said anyway.

i got one and it works fine actually more comfartible than the original i like the old one but the japanese one is better,one thing though,it cost more so if u willing to waste a extra 10$ its a good deal

you don't have to pay an extra $10 if you buy the 'S' controller, which from what i understand is very similar to the japanese model. Saves from importing anything, now that the 'S' controller is out.
