I'm addicted. They suck you in with the 19.99 price for six months, then they tell you to bend over and jack the price up to 39.99. There's nothing you can do about it either, cause 6 months of surfin the net at those fast speeds has you addicted to it. Going back to the phone line would be like trading in your Ferrarri for a Pinto.

No, no broadband for me... its very sad, I live out in the sticks, so I'm on 56k, but the thing that is even worse is, I only connect at 21000 bps.... 21k for crying out loud!!! my download speeds are about 2.5 k/s. It sucks, yes it sure does....

I'm like Hook-Worm, apart from i'm in the Uk. It's impossible to get any decent internet connections where i live, what is stupid considering i ive in the middle of loads of big towns.
28k for me, and it looks like it's gonna stay that way.
Also if there's a chance of ADSL getting to me, it uses a USB connection, so unless there's an adapter i'm f*cked if i want to use XBOX LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a cool poll because a lot of people think Xbox Live will flop because supposedly they say not many people have broadband. I've had cable for 2 years here. I could never go back to dialup... never ever.

just route your connection through your computer. that way you wont have to have an adapter. =)

yes i have broadband....
we had to get it b/c of my dads proffession..
cuz phone line blocked the line from phone calls...
so for a while we had a separate phone line for the pc..
but then it equaled to more than cable internet....so now we have cable and i have had it for like 3 years i think....
