Steel Battalion Controller/Box pic and a Sequel being made!!

New Tekki Announced
Capcom announced yesterday that they are already working on a follow-up to their Xbox mech simulation title, Tekki. While no title or release date were revealed, the game's producer, Atsushi Inaba, stated that the title would be online. Of course, the game will be compatible with Capcom's 40+ button controller.

Tekki is due out in Japan on August 22. Domestic and European release dates are to follow in the winter, under the name Steel Battalion.

Whoa both the box and controller look kick ***. That has to be the best looking game box I have ever seen. I hope that is what the American packaging will look like.

Why would they sell them in those boxes? I mean, are they really gonna add rust, dents, scratehes, and other things to make it look rough and worn.

Cool this game might be worth getting if theres gonna be a sequel. I wouldnt get it though if the controller was only for 1 game, cause I would eventually get bored of it.

The only way it will be worth getting is if there's 2 sequels & some other games that support that controller!!

It's for effect like it's been used in War. Get it?...guess not. If you don't like it you can go buy a box and write steel battalion on it and you got yourself a new box

thats sooo off the hizzy! i LOVE the box its in. lol, when u walk out of the store, people will think u have like ammo or somethin, hha. but that box is so sweet, its cool that its metal and not cardboard. i love those old war boxes and stuff, my brother has a small box like that, its so cool. lol, it almost makes me wanna buy the game, ha. i bet the game would be so fun with those arcade sticks and stuff

Hey I would bet MechWarrior 4 would be compatable with the controller...MS should be seeing all the success and buzz around the controller and such of E3...I mean...MS would be helping the Stell Batallion people, and It would be a big plus for the users of MechWarrior to use this lovely controller...even though you cant buy the controller alone, most certaintly if you buy Steel Batallion you are probably interested in purchasing MechWarrior.

That box looks crazy. They don't need to add dents though, cuz the box will get all those when they ship it via UPS.

That is the coolest Game Box and Controller Ever, I have seen the controller before , but that Box is amazing, That game will cost me Most if not all my free time when it comes out, Its gonna sell millions!!! of copies!! the Japanese will eat that up so fast, and we won't need to worry about the Japanese market any longer....so long as the game is awesome, I can't wait to play people online with that thing!!!

the only thing thats keeping me away from buying it is the price, if it was like 50 bucks, or even 60-80 bucks, id probly buy it.

I just noticed that box is Cardboard, look at the side facing us on the edge you can tell it's cardboard

lol if it was made of metal it would cost too much to make, and it would be a killing to ship because it would be too expensive, plus they want to keep the weight down because the size is already huge...but its ok you probably wont do much with the box
