Changing Hunters...

Hey fellow Hunter-junkies,

In one-player mode, is it possible to change Hunters throughout the game?

I've discovered that in multi-player mode when you die, and let the continue run-out, you can change Hunters...wondering if the same happens...or is it GAME OVER?

it's game over, but when you change hunters in multiplayer, you don't get the benefit of all the experience you've attained...
