DVD question, will this item solve my problem?

on page 91 of the july XBA, in "the answer man" there is an article about Macrovision and connecting your xbox though a VCR, it says i cant watch DVD's cuz of Macrovision, we'll i can but the brightness and dimness goes up and down up and down.

and i was woundering if this will solve my problem, do i just hook my xbox up to it instead of my VCR?

Just get the RF adapter for $20.

i got something like that, but i dont know where to plug it into my TV, theres no places to plug stuff in

ok, i have a cable i i pug into the tv. but my tv is pluged to my VCR, and when i put the TV, to the RF, to the VCR i get a crappy picture
