NBA 2K2 is it a good basketball game or not?

From what ive seen of NBA 2K3 screenshots(wise) they look so awesome!! & detailed. Now i don't have any basketball games yet for my xbox and im a Big basketball fan playing it/& watching it but what i wanna know is NBA 2K2 worth $50? whats your honest opion about the game.. best thing you like about the game? lest fav thing about the game(if thier is one)?

yes i have nba 2k2 and i want nba 2k3 2k2 ruled beat out live and inside drive by a long shot.

FYI,

Electronics Boutique is running a special. If you have 2 games to trade in you get 2k3 free. I have 2k2 and it is by far the best of the basketball games. Inside Drive is plain easy and I don't even bother with EA Sports anymore. Quite frankly every XBOX owner should boycott those A-holes! Anyway, 2k3 will be awesome--they are going to show sweat as the game progresses!!
