    Default Xbox motherboard support?

Hi all! i was just wondering what ATA capacity the motherboard has?
I know there is an Ata33 cable that connects the harddrive and the dvd drive to the motherboard. Does this mean the mb only supports ATA33? spread some light over this pls

I read something on it a long time about people using ATA100 cables instead, I don't remember if they saw a perfomance jump, etc. I'll see If I can find that info....gimme a few

UPDATE - Check this article out: http://166.88.8.240/resources/ATA_Cable/

Many people have claimed there has been a speed difference using a ATA100 cable, but through extensive tests people have found that there is no difference. Game programmers have only programmed Xbox software to take advantage of the default Xbox hardware, not upgrades. For example if you found a way to add more ram to the Xbox it wouldn't do anything speed wise because developers didn't plan on having extra ram to use.

People may recall when the Expansion pack came out for N64, It didn't make older games run any faster or different, just made games that used the Expansion pack addon run with the new addition. Well the same thing goes with the ATA cable upgrade.
