NFL 2k3, Multiple Hot Routes and Advanced Line Moves

Okay so what is the deal with these two options that you can turn on and off.

What exactly do they do?? I haven't figured out how to call a hot route or have I figured out how to do a swim move or spin move on the line..

So far these are the only two things I'm unhappy with..

1.) if you can't call a hot route for you recievers.. that is LAME!
2.) if you can't perform some type of moves to get around the offensive line like you can in real life.. well that is LAME!

Anyways I'm gonna get back to my movie (The New Guy)

I'll look over the book again later.

I'm sorry man I have the same problem. The only advice I can give you is to keep messing around with it. Once I learn though it's gonna be sack after sacck....and pass after pass. I got the strategy guide and it just gives you tips on using them but doesn't actually tell you how to do it. Is it in the instruction manual?

When on the d-line, if you press Y (while in contact maybe?) the lineman will either do a swim or spin move, but I can't control which one he does, he just does it. Also it mentioned how to do hot routes in the manual, it's like holding down the left triger then give a direction with left stick and then assign the route to the receiver by pressing the button for that receiver. It IS in the manual though.

Anyways...

it's pretty dang sweet

there is 8 hot routes.. and 4 line moves..
