Can anybody help me with DTR, chap 8 boss?

okay, i'm at the end of chapter 8 in the like room with frozen sh it, and i'm fighting the boss with the crossbow.. I cant come close tokilling him, with all of my bullets and rockets, any tips for those who have been there??

duck and strafe.

use up all your ammo, and a auto shotgun and stuff will spawn in the rooms.
Just grab those and blow the hell out of him.
