didnt do quest

i just got the game a week and a half ago and i started playing i started buy doing what it said and when i got to the guy he said go around get stronger and items or something like that and i just never whent back for work i did some of the small ones that people ask u to do but thats prutty much it . what i wanted to now is is there a certain amount of time before i cant do certain things. im like 24 days into the game. i got prutty strong and wondering if its worth going all the way back and ask for a job.

Nah, you can come back anytime you want. Doing certain things can ruin quests for you, but the game will generally let you know if you have negated the main quest.

In that case, just go back to your last save.
