I was wondering what the Vport was too... anyone have any info on it? Is it better to display through a TV that has Vport or through an HDTV? I'm gonna google-ize this topic, but if anyone knows anything or can provide links, we would both appreciate it...

EDIT: Found a little info HERE

Doesn't really say much other than the fact that it's supposedly "allows for a simple-one plug connection to an Xbox to achieve a sharper picture and more powerful gaming experience". I'd like to see the box running on one of these TV's before I bought it for that purpose....

    Default Vport

The Vport is a custom plug (looks identical to the plug on the back of the xbox that the video packs plug into)...The vport is basically the same as an High resolution Component input. So if you were to get a HDTV that had a Vport connection, you could get 480p or 720p, or even 1080i if they ever made a game that supported it, with only one plug instead of three plugs.

It is a rather odd idea. There was absolutely no reason to make a special connection for the xbox when component connections do the same thing.

    Just FYI for people.
