world series baseball question

I know there's a lot of advanced controls in NFL2K3 that aren't in the manual, is that true with World Series Baseball? The main one i'm looking for is jumping to field the ball and move the batter within the box. Thanks, anything else would be helpful too.

I dont think you can move around in the batter box. For diving use the appropriate trigger. To dive left pull the left trigger. right trigger for right dive. i think if ball can be fielded by jumping the computer will jump for you.

I can't move in the batter's box either. Why would they leave that out?
