    Talking Shenmue 3

    AM2 reiterates that Ryo Hazuku's adventures will continue beyond Shenmue II.

    As part of the latest update on the official AM2 Web site, the director of planning for Sega's AM2 division has confirmed that it currently plans to develop Shenmue III. This announcement comes as no surprise, as the ending of Shenmue II hinted that the series would continue, and Sega has commented that the Shenmue epic is far from complete and the story of Ryo Hazuku and Shenhua needs to be continued. Although a specific platform was not revealed, judging from the fact Shenmue II is now being released on the Xbox, it is likely that the third installment will also appear on Microsoft's console.

    Sweet. Shenmue is my favorite game, and Shenmue II is one of the major reasons I am getting a Xbox.
    I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

    Yea and they have done 9 of them in the last 2 games

    The first game was only chapter one and the second game will be the next five chapters.

    h e l l yeah! i loved shenmue for the dc. just got done beating it for the 3rd time yesterday!!! i cant wait till shenmue 2. and now shenmue 3!! i sure hope its for xbox. xbox rules!! so does shenmue!!
    When you're alarm goes off in the morning, do a backflip straight out of bed without even sitting up, do some pushups while dodging bullets in slow motion, then do a cartwheel into your car while spinning a CD on the tip of your finger ... now you're a unique individual.

    Shemnue III was going to be made for the PS2 gamecube and xbox but the Xbox got exclusive rights to it
