RFU adapter

I know the RFU adapter for the PS2 drastically lessened the quality of the sound and graphics, but does any one think this will happen with the xbox adapter?

I have an old TV without A/V inputs, and I always use RF Adapters. So, I dont know if the graphics are lessened anyways. I'm gonna try to hook the A/V plugs into my VCR and connect that to the TV.
