    Default Fiber Optics

I am looking for away to hook up my Xbox digital fiber optic cable and my Pioneer DVD player digital fiber optic cable to a single port on my Receiver.

The only thing I can think of is a switch or some kind of splitter. Has anyone tried to find or knows of where I can get somethink like that??

    Thanks,

I dont think they have splitters for fiber optic cables. My suggestion would be to move the pioneer dvd player to another tv and use your xbox to play dvd's where its at. I have a yahama reciever and it has 2 fiber-optic inputs on the back.

You only have one fiber input?? That's odd. Why not use the coax digital for your DVD player (every Pioneer I've seen has both fiber and coax), therefore freeing up your fiber input for the Xbox?

Other than that, it's probably time to upgrade your A/V receiver.

I will hook up using the coax digital. I was hoping that there was some kind of splitter though.

I plan on upgrading to an Onkyo Receiver next year, I better check to make sure that it has 2 fiber optic inputs.
