    Default most important launch factor

What do you guys think is the key to a successful launch? I have a few ideas
    - Cost
    - Graphics
    - Visual Appeal
    - Company reputation
    - Innovations
    - Launch titles
    - Peripherals/Accessories
    - Units available on launch
What do you think could most make or break a launch of a console.

    Here are my thoughts:

    - Cost (B+)
    - Graphics (A+)
    - Visual Appeal (C-)
    - Company reputation (Err, you know it is M$!)
    - Innovations (A-)
    - Launch titles (B+)
    - Peripherals/Accessories (B+)
    - Units available on launch (B+)

The system is VERY ugly, but the fact that it is powered by nVIDIA GPU is a selling factor for me. (have been a faithful nVIDIA supporter in the PC arena)

    Well i think:

    - Cost (9.8- it's worth the price)
    - Graphics (10- LOOK AT THEM)
    - Visual Appeal (9)
    - Company reputation (9.5)
    - Innovations (9.5)
    - Launch titles (9.7- There's a variety and it's much more than what GC has)
    - Peripherals/Accessories (10- Got everything u need, DVD, HDTV, list goes on)
    - Units available on launch (9.5- Little worry, but it's unnecessary)

The most important one would probablly be the Launch Games, it'll get people buyin, along with the specs and wut they know that the XBOX can do.

I think looks have very little to do with it. It is not like a car where everybody sees you in it. Something I see as a huge factor is the abilty to ship on time and meet demand.

They will be able to meet demand. It is finally a good release like the Dreamcast had. You were able to find it the day after it came out. Now with 3 days before the release it is still available for preorder at places like ebworld.com and stores like eb expect more shipments every week

    - Cost ya, important, but not really
    - Graphics counts, more then cost
    - Visual Appeal nope, never really look at
    the sys, only the tv...
    - Company reputation at first, but if the sys is
good rep will be put aside...
    - Innovations Yes
    - Launch titles Bingo
    - Peripherals/Accessories Yes
    - Units available on launch Big time, though units at
    xmas matters a lot too

Err, nice poetic (and colorful) post, but it is "Warrior" and not "Worior"
