MK trailer in theatres

Went to see a movie yesterday, and there was a commercial for MK during the previews. I've planned to buy the title, but the commercial kind of pumped me up for it.

Anyone know the origin of this trailer? It was gorgeous. It looked like actual gameplay (I can usually smell pre-rendered a mile away), except that the resolution was impossibly great, being blown up to a giant theatre screen and still looking crystal clear. Man, if only a game could look that sweet in real life!

Igby Goes Down. It was in a small artsy type theatre, so it was a little surprising to see... felt a little out of place.

Just a side-note to the story.

I had finally hooked my girlfriend on DOA3, and now she's as addicted to it as I am. She's an agressive player, and doing pretty well with the whole thing. So I'm watching this preview with her before the movie, and I lean over to her and say "that's our next game." Her reply was "... but they're not cute!"
