Default A twist on the west coast port strike.

Look at this slanted article based on the work stoppage on the west coast ports. Obviously, everyone is affected but she harps on xbox. (the title says it all) You would think after reading this article that MS won't have enough xbox's for Christmas. (which is false) This effects Nintendo and Sony just as much as MS, she just wants to make xbox look bad. HERE'S THE LINK

    LOL,
and it seems that MS is the only one doing something about it.
So therefore there will be xboxes for christmas and no PS2 and gamecube games!

The author acknowledges that this will affect all companies:

[QOUTE] Originally in Article Microsoft may be in a better position than some companies, Doherty said, such as Nintendo of America of Redmond, which relies on shipments from Japan of its GameCube hardware. Sony Computer Entertainment America, which produces PlayStation 2 consoles, is also monitoring the situation and ''exploring some options'' if supply problems crop up, spokeswoman Molly Smith said.

''I think their competitors won't be rubbing salt in their wounds because they'll be hurting as well,'' said Doherty.
    [/QUOTE]

I actually think this is a relatively unbiased article. The fact of the matter is that the port strike has been costing the national economy $2 billion per day according to early estimates; this of course affects everyone.
