Thread: TV Volume while playing XBox?

  1. #1

Question TV Volume while playing XBox?

Well, when I play XBox, I have to turn my TV volume up, pretty high. Does it do this to everyohne? I don't recall having this on other systems, and my friends don't have it on PS2, and GC. I don't know, is it just my TV?

Nope. Don't have to turn it when going from TV watching to playing.

I don't play it through the tv speakers but when going through my receiver I don't have to crank it any higher than when I'm watching movies.

I don't need to turn the volume up to play Xbox on my TV, I just like to have it turned up.

I generally leave mine where it's at, if I have to adjust it, it is to turn it down.

Everything is the same volume-wise for me. Maybe it's your brand of tvs or something. I might've had that for the SNES we used to have...I'm not sure. Like someone above me said..check for loose wires...also maybe your ingame volume is turned down.

Yeah it's got to go up you just can't appreciate the Dolby Digital sound on a low volume

like Lynx FX I don't use my TVs speakers, everything is connected to my receiver

I sometimes have to turn my tv down too. It's like tv commercials. When they come on they always seem to be louder the show you are watching.....Wait, what am I doing watching tv anyways.....I should be playing my box.

I actually have to turn the sound DOWN when I am playing XBOX.

for example. while watching a DVD, I usually kep it about 30 volume

on xbox I keep it about 15-20 dependind on how much explosions I want.

maybe its how you are connecting your Xbox into your TV. DO you have front and back AV ports?
