Well, when I play XBox, I have to turn my TV volume up, pretty high. Does it do this to everyohne? I don't recall having this on other systems, and my friends don't have it on PS2, and GC. I don't know, is it just my TV?

Nope. Don't have to turn it when going from TV watching to playing.
I don't play it through the tv speakers but when going through my receiver I don't have to crank it any higher than when I'm watching movies.

The older a person gets, the less they care what they wear. Old people come up with some of the strangest clothing combinations you'll ever see. I think of it as "cancer of the clothing."

I generally leave mine where it's at, if I have to adjust it, it is to turn it down.

Check your xbox connections guys. A wire might be loose

I have to turn Madden 2003 up a few notches. I must be the only person who actually turns the volume up when listening to John Madden. The Doc's are right I am crasy.
Everything is the same volume-wise for me. Maybe it's your brand of tvs or something. I might've had that for the SNES we used to have...I'm not sure. Like someone above me said..check for loose wires...also maybe your ingame volume is turned down.
Yeah it's got to go up you just can't appreciate the Dolby Digital sound on a low volume
like Lynx FX I don't use my TVs speakers, everything is connected to my receiver
i use headphones.......man o man 5.1 sounds so sweet with my megabass headphones. I can't turn my television up too loudly in my apartment building.
Meanwhile back at the Ranch,Bificus Beefy AKA Evil_Dr_Beefy and his henchmen The Big Dipper Beast plot the destruction of their arch nemesis Spaceboy
I sometimes have to turn my tv down too. It's like tv commercials. When they come on they always seem to be louder the show you are watching.....Wait, what am I doing watching tv anyways.....I should be playing my box.
I actually have to turn the sound DOWN when I am playing XBOX.Originally posted by Xbox Owner
