why am i getting black bars when playing halo?

theyre on the top bottom and both sides, should i switch to widescreen, or letterbox???


someone help me out, i got convenats to kill!!! and these bars are ****ing me off greatley

probally your tv, keep it on normal, and if your using a tv with the component outlets and have it hook to a high def-av pack, take it off, because that only supports high definition ready tv. same thing goes with s-video, if you have a s-video converter cable that hooks into a tv with out a s-video out, don't do it because if it don't have its own s-video jack then it is not going to work, other than that use a different tv because something may be wrong with it.
