    Howard Phillips Lovecraft (20 August 1890 – 15 March 1937)
is probably the best known writer of weird fiction. Some of my favorite stories by him are "The Haunter Of The Dark" and "The Thing on the Doorstep".

H.P. lovecraft rules, I staritng reading it when I was 10 , same with King, Barker, the graphics could be better but who cares , really it's a freaking H.P. lovecraft game, My favorite stories are cool air ,mountains of madness ..ect.. it makes wanna go read some more........I only have one book left, I had every H.P. lovecraft storie ever written and some 1930's Wierd tales . but THEY WERE STOLEN .....I also read the Necronomicon , but I love sumerian mythology , Zecharia Sitchins the 12th planet is a cool book on sumerian mythology, I still study It ,

I've been a longtime Lovecraft fan, and while his writing is simply amazing, I do have to agree that those graphics pale in comparison to what we've been used to. Call of Cthulhu is a great game, however (if you're in to pen & paper RPG's), so I'm going to keep my hopes up for this title.
